I have tried to use bothTheTVDB and Hama TV to get the metadata working for my anime. My biggest gripe right now is that Hunter x Hunter works with HamaTV and not TheTVDB while High School DxD works with TheTVDB and not HamaTV. I use Absolute Series Scanner (I have seen people talking about BABS, is this the same as ASS?).
Is there any way to solve this, without having multiple libraries?
you’re aware the stuff is there on TheTVDB.com … however contrary to AniDB and maybe the DVDs, TheTVDB has organized those spin-offs, arcs or otherwise related shows into different seasons of the same show.
having some animes myself I’m aware this is a pain but it’s worth dealing with how TheTVDB structures things. You don’t have to love it… but once you get their structure, things work like a charm.
