Or are we just screwed? I’ve asked for help a few times, but I can’t find any. A few udpates ago, I updated my plex server, and boom, no longer can connect externally. Plex right now is telling me “Not available outside your network” by I am remote desktop’ed into the machine typing this, and I can connect just fine to plex over the web externally. The machine has full internet connectivity - every single application that I want to use to connect to it works fine, except PLEX
I repeat. I can connect just fine to remote desktop, the web, the PLEX SERVER VIA THE WEB, the ONLY thing that doesn’t work is plex itself. REPEAT: I can connect to the public IP and Port plex reports as unavailable from anywhere in the world.
HELP PLEASE!
There are posts asking the same questions, and the answers are the same - Plex Pass members do not get any special assistance. The forums are the only place for product support.
Explain how your network is configured - manual port forward or UPnP? Using a combination wifi router+modem (from the ISP) or router + standalone router? Have you done any of the remote access troubleshooting steps contained on the support pages?
