Is there any interest in a touchpad plex?

Hi all,

So some of you might have heard of HP’s late tablet. You also might have heard that if your lucky you can snag one for 100 dollars making it a great deal. After glancing over the SDK it seems pretty simple to program on, looks like its literally just java script. I was wondering who else on the forum might have one of these, because I might take the time to write a plex client for it (I have been saying that I would write some sort of plex client for a while so no garentees it will ever get done) and was wondering if anyone besides myself would actually use it.

I’m here looking for info on the remote and transcoding APIs, with an eye toward writing a webos client. So I’d use one if you write it.

I would! I was lucky enough to snag a Touchpad for $99 and would love to be able to use Plex on it. I currently use it on my Roku.

Didn't someone do a WebKit player to allow playing files in your browser?
You could get inspiration from it, methinks.

A plex client for webOS 3 would be awesome.

Just got my brand new TP and I’m quite impressed with the OS ease of use.

I’m no developer but I might help if you ever need a french localization.

Or how about a documented web api. We can more than likely write a client with no issues if we have an api.
