I record several shows daily for the family using my Qnap based Plex server and an HDHome run quad tuner. I keep the server bits up to date. A couple of the recordings are network soaps on primary channels and others are on digital sub channels. They are all set to detect and remove commercials.
Regardless of the channel, detection seems to start strong but roughly by the second half of the program (whether 30 or 60 min show) it seems to lose steam and stops detecting (or at least removing) them.
Are there settings or adjustments I can make to improve this process so all Commercials are deleted?
