Is there iTunes library xml support?

Hi, I have a Lifetime Plex Pass since approx. one month now and very happy with the experience so far! However there is one thing I can’t figure out and that is iTunes (now Apple Music) library support. I was expecting that Plex could handle the library.xml file with the ratings and playlists and imports that information.

So plex is indexing all the files in the library folder on my synology nas fine. There is no issue there. (Just for clarification: I’m talking about a iTunes library with files, obviously not steaming.) It is the Library.xml file itself that is not being used.

What is confusing is that there is a iTunes plugin setting in the server config:

However this does not result in any changes in a result that the library.xml is indexed. Also it is not visible under Plugins

There is some documentation I found: https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289526-library/ however it is not providing a solution for my problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Server Version#: Synology 1.41.4.9399
Player Version#: iOS Plex player 8.44 iOS PlexAmp 4.11.5

Same issue, CMON PLEX.

Strange that the iTunes plugin option is there but then doesn’t showup under ‘plugins’

I think i got this library.xml thing to work somewhat a few years ago. Know it was a hassle.
I just added the itunes media folder in plex as a library.

The itunes plug-thing have newer worked afaik
