We have a bit of an odd set up in our hose, from ISP router there is a dumb switch with a couple of devices such as DVD player and a Nvidia shield, cable from this then runs upstairs to the WAN port of a UDM Pro, then on the LAN side of the UDM Pro are many other devices including an access point and the server hosting my internal plex library (I have another server in a data centre).
Now this set up has existed and been working for at least a year, however this week we changed ISP, before doing so I take a screenshot of the port forwarding rules in the old router and have mirrored them exactly in the new one. The server reports as being on line and my phone using only mobile data, can access the internal library just fine.
However the Shield connected to the dumb switch no longer can, it will only play stuff on the external library, however if I connect it to the AP behind the UDM Pro it will play both (unfortunately due to the distance of the AP the signal isn’t up to the job).
Before I end up running more cables between my ground floor and attic to make it so that the dumb hub and everything else, is behind the UDM Pro, has any one got any ideas what else might have changed during the transition that has made this suddenly stop working?
