Remote access on Nvidia Shield hooked to a WD PR4100

Hello,

I run Plex on a Shield connected to a NAS WD PR4100

I used to have remote access working pretty fine but not anymore… can’t really say since when. I heard there was a change in April…maybe it’s been that long.. anyway… I don’t remember having to do anything about it before and it was working perfectly without setting any manual ports.

I have a Plex Pass subscription.

I recently changed my router (my box as we say in France) from Orange Box 5 to Orange box 7. Could that be the reason ?

I am sorry I am really a novice in terms of network settings and all. I have found the IP address of the Shield on the device mapping system of the box and it’s the same as the one listed in the prefs of the Shield. So in Plex Remote Access prefs I tried to set a manual port to 32400 but still no connection.

Can anyone help me ? and talk to me as I were a 10y old child ? :slight_smile:

Hi.

Thank you for your answer, I have checked all the requirements, I don’t understand all of them. The strange thing is that, I have been trying to watch a movie from my phone outside of the wifi network and it works ! although the server says it’s not..
