I’m on the latest versions of client and PMS, but this has been happening on previous versions as well. When you go to choose a to make a recording on Live DVR in the guide, and have multiple libraries, you cannot select a secondary library and have it save correctly.
It seems to default to the first library. The list is in alpha order, but if I add multiple libraries as type “TV Shows”, it will select by default the first one I added.
I can click it and choose another library, or another “TV Show” library, and hit save, and it seems to accept it, and I can hit save. If I then go to recordings, under upcoming schedule or priorities in the top header, and select the recording, I can click it and will see it didn’t stick, it’s set back to whatever “TV Show” library I added first on the PMS. I can try to change it again from the upcoming recordings or priorities screens, but still, it doesn’t stick. You can select it, hit save, then click it again, and see it did not stick.
I wanted to choose a library that was not my first, so my work around was to delete all my libraries, add the one I wanted Recordings to save too first, then add the others, then it works and saves to where I want.
So I got a work around for now, but seems like a bug for sure.
I don’t have logs and need to make a new recording to get them and see what they say, but was curious if others had similar issues.
I’m on Ubuntu 18.04, standard install, no docker or anything, nothing custom, mostly all default settings, only 1 Movie library and 2 “TV Shows” libraries.
