Issue launching Plex Media Player App

Anytime I try to launch the Plex Media Player app (from Plex not windows store) it always launches the installer file to install the Plex App instead of launching the actual installed app. This happens mainly if I hit windows key and start typing Plex. I have also tried pinning the open app on my taskbar as well but that also launches the installer file. Usually I can just exit the installer and search Plex again and it will launch the app.

You have a very old version which had an issue with the integrated update feature.
You should uninstall it, then download the newer release from here and install it.
