Plex install won’t launch in Windows 10 but works fine via browser?

I use Plex from my browser either Firefox or Chrome and they work fine but when I download latest version from plex website and install in Windows latest version it will not launch? IS there a reason for this? Thanks

Do you receive any type of error message?

Try rebooting your PC?

If that doesn’t help, uninstall, reboot, download & install, reboot.

I installed v1.5.0.951 a few minutes ago and it works OK on my Win10 PC.

No errors no nothing? I have uninstalled multiple times and rebooted and nothing happens. I can see the Plex software in task manager. Thanks reply

Not really sure if you are talking about the Plex Media Server or the Plex for Windows player. A server update won’t do anything but show up in task manager while it is running.

Thanks for everyones help, I realized I was trying to install Plex server for Windows vs the player using the link posted I properly installed the player. My Plex software is installed on a Qnap server using Linux
