Hey guys, sorry if this topic is discussed before. I couldnt find it.
My Episode Titles are not named after the file name, which would be prefered.
The Episodes are named after the Date, after i refresh metadata.
My PlexFiles naming convention is for example “Folge 001 - Hier kommt Ruffy der kuenftige Koenig der Piraten.mkv”
They are in a shared Folder with my Nextcloud, For example the Video File I mentioned is under this Path
Shared_Media\Serien\One Piece\Staffel 01\
I want that the Episodes are named after the Filename
Now its called : 2023-07-27, which is the same as Originally Available i guess (sorry my english is not the best, i have everything in german). i think plex takes the date when the file is created or uploaded to the server as the title name.
Unfortunatly it did not work sofar. I added a complete new libery.
i selected now for the libary Shared_Media\Serien\TV Shows
there are the folders One Piece Test (2002)\Season 01
wirth the filename: One Piece Test (2002) - s01e01 - Hier kommt Ruffy der kuenftige Koenig der Piraten.mkv
i selected in plex scanner: Plex TV Series
and the agent: The TVDB
the Episode is now called “Episode 01”. well it is now not the date when added, but i want the Episode is called “Hier kommt Ruffy der kuenftige Koenig der Piraten” or something like this
Wichtige Frage: Die Mediathek wurde exakt auf den Ordner Serien gerichtet?
d.h. nicht etwa eine Ebene darüber oder darunter
Schlechte Idee. Das funktoniert gar nicht zusammen. Wenn du “Plex TV Series” als Scanner wählst, dann musst du als Agenten “Plex Series” wählen.
Alles andere ist “deprecated” und wird nicht mehr gepflegt.
Ich empfehle, die neue Mediathek gleich wieder zu entfernen und mit den obigen Einstellungen neu zu erstellen.
Wenn diese Folgenanordnung: One Piece: East Blue (1999) — The Movie Database (TMDB) auch deinen Dateien entspricht, dann kannst du ansonsten mit den Standardeinstellungen weiter machen.
