Issue setting up Plex DVR - unable to set location

Today, my HDHomeRun Connect arrived and I’ve set it up and can watch TV from my laptop, but I’m having trouble setting up Plex DVR.
I have updated Plex on my Synology NAS (DS1513+) to the latest version available - Version 1.7.3.3937
When I log in to the web interface, I select my user and enter my pass code, then click Server, then DVR (Beta) and then click the Setup Plex DVR button.

The system detects my HDHomeRun Connect and the channels that it has found. I select the country to be United Kingdom and continue onto the screen that says “To download an electronic program guide we need to know your location”

The language has been defaulted to English, and the text box wants me to enter my postal code.

No matter what I choose for the Postal Code on this screen, I can’t get any further. Entering the partial post code of PR1 sometimes gives me an error after several seconds of a spinning orange circle next to the text box. Trying other post codes either gives the same error or nothing happens after the swirling orange circle disappears.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I’m having the same problem with my WinTV-DualHD on NVidia Shield TV. I am performing the DVR setup through webpage on my laptop, it found the tuner, has a list of available channels, I enter my zip code and it gives me a screen saying “We’re finding the best program guide for your channels and location. This should only take a few moments.” Then stays stuck at 0% for awhile (greater than 10 minutes so far).

I don’t even get as far as it looking for a program guide - it fails when entering my post code.

Fortunately we got around the issue by using an xml tv feed for the UK, but it would have been good to use the EPG data supplied through Plex, but unfortunately it wasn’t a working option for me.

In principle the channels that you see here should also be shown in Plex.

Thanks - the selections on that screen work for me, but for some reason it just doesn’t work when setting up the DVR through Plex.

We ended up using the EPG data from www.xmltv.co.uk/feeds
