So, can I download an older version of the Synology package and downgrade?
Answering myself: I’ve now uninstalled PMS version 1.18.3.2156 and reinstalled the PMS package from Synology Package Center, version 1.16.5.1552.
The library and settings are back again, no need to reconfigure, however, Sonos still does not stream as already mentioned here
Obviously this is a different issue I’m facing than the OP…
I have recently purchased three Sonos One SLs. When first connected all speakers were able to be cast to from the Plex app. As of today I can only cast from the Plex IOS app to one of them. The other two give me “Something went wrong … Please Try again.” error message. I can play the music on the other two if I go through the Plex service on the Sonos App.
The only difference between them, I played a radio Station from the Sonos app on the two speakers that I cannot cast to from the Plex app.
A factory reset of the speakers does not solve the issue either.
Updated to FreeBSD Version 1.18.3.2156, issue remains.
Same problem here. Using the Sonos App instead. Shame - casting was groovy.
Forget to mention that airplay works as an alternative provided your Sonos device supports it.
I’ve got the same issue here too. Everything worked just great before I upgraded to this server version.
A fix went out today should help with casting issues.

I’m still having a lot of problems. I cannot get Plex to reliably stream music to Sonos. It can work fine sometimes, but then refuse to play a song it had played an hour before. Or just stop halfway through a song. I have tired messing with my firewall, removed Sonos from Plex and adding again. Nothing seems to fix it. But oddly enough when I was Alexa via my Sonos Beam to music from Plex its fine! It’s only casting. (I prefer to cast)
I hope someone can help , its driving me to drink!
Can you post logs from your PMS log that covers the time where you have issues?
Finally solved this! It was my wifi!! Wired the Sonos speakers into my network. It now works perfectly!

Yo tengo el mismo problema. Selecciono mis dispositivos Sonos desde Plex (tanto desde Android como desde Windows), intento reproducir música y me da error. Me dice que no puede reproducir el video !!! Adjunto el log de hoy por si queréis echarle un vistazo.
Si reproduzco en Windows o Android pero sin enviar a Sonos, funciona perfectamente.
Tengo Plex Pass suscrito.

I am still having this problem. Both directions. Cannot listen to plex music through sonos and cannot cast to sonos via plex.

Estoy pensando en abandonar la suscripcion a Plex Pass ya que la hice para utilizarla con Sonos. Si no hay solución para nuestro problema, la cancelaré.

Han salido varias versiones de Plex desde que escribí el post del 23 de enero, pero sigue sin funcionar. Necesito ayuda porque no puedo reproducir mi biblioteca musical en mi Synology a traves de Okex y Sonos.
