Issue with matching one specific series

I recently tried to add the series Tom and Jerry (1940) with tvdb ID: 72860. Everything is named as per naming guide but Plex is unable to find a match for the series. It only finds the tmdb ID: 323708 with no option to change episode ordering to anything other than The Movie Database (Aired).

Sonarr had an issue with this series as well where it couldn’t find the series to add and I had to submit a issue for them to fix it, which they did. Now it seems Plex is having an issue with the series as well. I’m guessing a recent metadata update has buggered something up and just wanted to bring it to your attention.

I have this exact same issue.

My folder structure is: X:\TV\Tom and Jerry (1940) {tvdb-72860}\Season 1940\Tom and Jerry - S1940E01 - Puss Gets The Boot.mkv

My Plex settings are set to use the TVDB ordering but whatever I do it only wants to match with the TMDB 323708, or sometimes 320946, neither of which match the ordering I want and with no way to select the TVDB option.

Did you edit the tv show at its highest level, and have set the Episode Ordering to “TheTVDB (Aired)”?

I have the entire library set to use TheTVDB but on this series, in the advanced options for Episode Ordering, there is no option for TheTVDB (Aired). It only shows The MovieDB.
