Issue with my server, remote access

Greetings,

I am running a server for myself, some close friends and family, i have a 1 GB fiber connection (Up and down), i have my ports forwarded and i have an static ip, for some reason the users on my server can not go past 2 Mbps when watching and it results in 4K and full hd television/cinema to go into 720p SD. I was wondering if any of you might know what is causing this issue ?.

When watching locally there are no issues. only remote.

Server Version#:1.29.0.6244

Check #1 → let your friends check the remote streaming quality preference in their client apps. Many clients default to 720p @ 2 Mbps.

Check #2 → check the Now Playing section of your server dashboard while one of those friends is streaming from your server. Specifically have a look if the stream is displayed as remote or indirect (indirect/relayed connections are limited to 2 Mbps and can be linked to some glitch in a remote access configuration).

Dude thank you so much, it was them, not me. I’ve been racking my brain for a week trying to figure out what was going wrong, even deleted the server and put it up again.
