Some shows or movies jitters juste a bit when direct played or streamed. Enough to see that it is not fluid as it should be. Don’t see this on the Xbox one or Android client. If I force transcoding or disable direct play and direct stream, the playback is fine.
I see this error in the logs when staring the playback
Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Tizen, platformVersion=4, device=18_KANTME_UHD_BASIC, model=UN55NU7100
i get this these symptoms as well with my Samsung. I think it’s been happening for ages, periodically I turn direct stream and direct play back on to see if it works now but it usually fails at some point during the first show I play.
the error shows up every few seconds in the logs not sure if it’s related but I can’t see anything else significant
