I’m running server version Version 1.41.5.9522 on a windows 10 desktop.
Watching via the chromecast app updated to the latest version.
In the last week I updated all my libraries and also went from being a LONG time user of the free version to getting a lifetime plex pass. And since then I’m getting my first problems which are hopefully just setting tweaks I need to apply.
First off, some tv shows now won’t play via the chromecast. They’ll show as there but timeout and error when starting. This isn’t that big a deal as I’ve discovered doing the plex dance (remove, rescan, put back, rescan) seems to fix things. Guess this is just part of the library update. Can fix as needed but thought I’d mention. Doesn’t seem to be a pattern on which do or don’t work.
Second thing though is that as before if I pause something and leave a few minutes I get booted out. However now when I go back I no longer get the resume option. Haven’t changed anything so don’t know why this now happens. Can’t say if this affects all files but had it on two films added post library update. If I manually stop then I can resume but the auto one puts me back to the start.
Any pointers or tweaks I can try appreciated
