Issues to run 2 media servers

I bought a second NAS (Synology DS1019+) as expansion for my movies & series. It’s the intention to keep my /“old” NAS (asustor 5102t) for back up and foto’s and the music of my wife…,:thinking:

But plex doesn’t allow me to have both under the same account
When I set-up the new one, I (sometimes) get the message on the other one that it’s not owned and have to claim ownership. When I do, the new server is not accessible anymore. I also see that accepting one server deletes the other one out of the authorised devices list.
Is this a known problem? How to get both into the authorized device list? Is there another work around? I would like to keep content (and remote access) of my servers seperate.

I run a number of servers all under one account…

Each server has to be unique. Plex1, Plex2 etc…
Each has to have it’s own static IP on the LAN so reboots don’t change…

Thanks, but that is the case. Both have fixed ip addresses.
Earlier i also installed pms on my pc and it all worked, i got the 3 pms showing…however, 2 hours later again 1 server is removed from the authorized server list…it is srilll visibel via plex clients lioe the shield and tablet but not via the pms site…
