Issues when CarPlay has no internet connection (Plexamp)

Hello,

i have a problem with the CarPlay feature of Plexamp. I want to play my downloaded playlist in my car. There is no problem until my Phone lost the connection to the internet. If that happens, the the „Play“ Menu close and i am back on the Main Menu of Plexamp CarPlay (list of latest Music added to Plex, playlists and so on). If I want to see what music Plexamp plays, I have to go back to the play menu.

I have tried to reset the Plexamp App configs, reinstall Plexamp, use another playlist…
Nothing happens, I got the same problem every Time.

Is that a feature or is it just a bug?
Does anybody got the same problem?

I play downloaded play lists all the time because I am in and out of coverage all the time. It may be from where you are playing it from. I usually play my downloaded play lists under the downloaded section of plex amp and have no issues when I drive out of coverage. It sounds like you may be play the streaming version of the play list.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I play my downloaded list. The music still play in the background, but the overview of the title with cover and timestamp and so on, closes and bring me back to the main menu of Plexamp.
And that’s everytime I lost the connection to internet.
