Plex amp can't play downloaded content without internet connection

So I have an Android radio in my truck so I downloaded the Plex Amp app, and while on my home WiFi, I downloaded my current music playlist. However, after shutting the truck off and restarting when I was no longer at home, I can no longer play my downloaded music, it just blocks out the entire screen and says it cannot connect to the server. The radio has no internet connection when away from home, I thought that was the whole idea behind the download feature. How can I get Plex Amp to allow me to play downloaded content without an internet connection?

Use the downloads tab directly.

I can see my downloaded playlist under the downloads tab, but if i tap it, it just takes me to a blank screen with a spinning circle, which just keeps spinning seemingly indefinitely (it did for atleast my 30 minute drive home). Sorry I couldn’tfigure out how to do a screen shot on the radio.

.

It says 1 track under downloads, which can’t be right because I have listened to the entire playlist of 58 tracks before on this radio, is there any reason it would have removed them? Like they don’t ‘expire’ like Google’s offline maps or something like that do they? The Truck has been parked for a couple months.

(Good camera work!)

If you were running an older version of Plexamp, it stored offline files in a cache region which the OS could reclaim. Bad on us. So I would delete that playlist item in the Downloads area, and then re-download it and you should be fine.

Yes, I removed and re-download the playlist again, and it is working now. The Visualizer is also different now so plex amp must’ve done an update when I was away from home.
