Here is the problem when I setup aladdin the series before I knew plex could do it. I pain stakely entered each episode name by hand. But forgot to change the folder name of the show I had it as Aladdin the Complete series but figured I’d change it to just aladdin big mistake the moment I did it. Plex changed all the episode names and put them all over the place it’s all wrong now is there anyway to fix this without having the re-enter over 99 episode names? I’ve tried everything the file is setup like this: Aladdin S01E01 - Working the Bugs out but plex show’s the episode name incorrectly does anyone have a way to get it to read the name of the episode listed above from the actually file name? Please help.
Check your Shows TVDB agent. Move Local Media Assets lower in the list.
It doesn’t read the episode title from the filename. If they MP4s and local media is on top ( if using old agents) or if local metadata is enabled for library ( if using new TV series agent) it will use title embedded in file.
We use the theTvDB and TheMovieDb for episode orders/names. Looks like you named based on Wikipeadia. Seems like that is one of the few shows not locked on TVDB so maybe they needs to be fixed there?
