Issues with Samsung TV Plex Apps - Please Help

I have been using Plex for years, and have never had this issue until yesterday.

Basically, all my Samsung Tv’s with updated Plex App and firmware have stopped working since I updated to the new Plex Media Server Version 1.20.3.3437.

This is the message I get when signed into my app after linking my TV.

"It looks like you have access to more than one Plex Media Server"

And when I’m signed in and try to connect to my server, I get this message.

"The server is offline or Unreachable"

The funny thing is, I can reach the server on my Android devices, it is only my Samsung TV’s with the issue.

I have searched the internet all day for a solution, and have made sure all settings regarding secure connections are correct.

I’m stumped, if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply.

My Tv’s are all 2018, 2019 & 2020 TV, except One that is older than 2016, so thats not the issue, they were all working 2 days ago.

I have rebooted modem/router, I have factory reset as well, with no luck, and everything else you suggest I have done, still with no luck.

I even deleted my old plex account and set up an entire new account and new server, but got same result.

As mentioned above I get this brief message “It looks like you have access to more than one Plex Media Server” when linking my TV’s.

Not sure what else to do. This all happened after I updated Plex Media Server to Version 1.20.3.3437

Any other advice would be welcomed.

Yes , all on the same subnet, and only ever set up one server. However I did change my modem from 10.0.0.1 to 192.168.0.1 and then back again to 10.0.0.1 subnet after other network issues and factory reset and it does say “It looks like you have access to more than one Plex Media Server” when linking my TV’s… Is there anyway of knowing if I’ve accidentally set up a second server?

Its like there is a 2nd server, but I don’t have any idea how it could have been created.

i’am having a similar issue, I have asus router my TV ip address is 192.168.1.85 ps4 is 192.168.1.249

So for everything i just use this the following? or should i enter in each ip by its self with a comma seperating them?

thanks

Thank You and so if done correctly i should be able to use local plex server with no internet aswell ?

Comma separated list of IP addresses or IP/netmask entries for networks that are allowed to access Plex Media Server without logging in. When the server is signed out and this value is set, only localhost and addresses on this list will be allowed.

I signed out and clicked the plex icon in task bar it asked me to sign in again. Or am i reading that wrong? i should not have had to sign in to access the server

So i just pulled out the ethernet cable going into the WAN port on the router, Opened up plex on TV it wouldnt load

no i didnt have the app open but i just disconnect the internet completely pulled out the telephone cable from the modem and was able to access the server

Thank you very much for your help, Greatly appreciate it

That fixed my issue. thank you so much.

Apart from entering EG: 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0

I also added my server IP into the Samsung TV App Settings under Manual Servers.

And Presto…It Worked!

Not sure why I had to make this change, as I have never needed to do this before until the last server update a few days ago, but it works, so I’m not complaining.

Thanks again.
