Tried to play all my movies with “srt” files which used to work all the times. After installed this latest version on my Windows10, none of my player devices work (iPhone, SmartTV, FireTV 1st gen &FireTV Cube). Playin from web browser OK.
Does anyone has this issue?
Error message: “an error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again”.
But if I turn OFF Subtitles, then it worked right the way.
I have the same issue, but I get the error message “Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start up.”
Happens for me since Windows Server Version# 1.20.2, but not before that with the same files! Playback works fine without subtitles (original quality, and transcoded).

I have the same problem With .srt files every file failed to play with message Transcoder failed to start Without the subs everything works fine It’s driving me nuts
Updated to the latest version 1.20.3.3483 now , It played the movies but didn’t show the subtitles at all (played from iPad).
Any updates on this? I can play SRT subtitles just fine on web browser but can’t play them through my Nvidia Shield TV. Thanks!
