Items Falling Off EPG Before DVR Can Record Them

I think I’m going to call this issue solved for me. I’ve had a few successful weeks of nothing falling off the schedule.

Thanks everyone for contributing to the conversation. Also thanks to @sa2000 for staying on top of the issue as it developed and seeing it through to completion.

Perhaps I spoke too soon… The Big Bang Theory dropped from the EPG last night, and failed to record. :frowning:

Logs attached.

EDIT: Which appears to be a bummer, as yesterday’s information appears to have fallen off, if I’m looking in the right area?

Period covered in the logs starts at May 10, 2018 23:46:20

When recordings are lost we need date / time and channel number and of course the logs need to cover from before the time the recording is scheduled up to completion

You could look into increasing the number of log files by adding registry entry LogNumFiles

Thank you for keeping an eye on this post, @sa2000. I’ll will increase the log size and wait for another incident. This is the first time that I know of that logs from the next day went outside the window.

There have been a few other posts about this as well, which may have better logs posted than mine.
