I’m having trouble playing my iTunes media in Plex. A few days ago I started getting error D200 whenever I try to play iTunes media. This only started a few days ago. Is there a fix or am I stuck between a rock and a hard place?
Plex cannot play DRM protected files.

Then what does the iTunes plugin do?
The iTunes plugin allows Plex to see the files organized in iTunes. Plex does not play those media files through iTunes. Therefore protected files will not be playable from within Plex.
So how come I was able to a few days ago?
You may have some media without DRM.
