Are these compatible? I just setup the server last night, I’m not super technical on the programming end. I tried multiple movies that worked, and 2 that I’d purchased through iTunes, and an error message was generated (forget exact wording), though it didn’t flat out say it wasn’t compatible. Thanks
iTunes purchased videos have DRM on them so Plex cannot play them.

I am trying to set up my PLEX server (MAC with High Sierra). My iTunes Movies are in my library but will not play on my Samsung TV or my Server. I see that the Codec is DRMI. I tried converting several movies with VLC but PLEX doesn’t see them. How can I get my iTunes movies with the proper codec and be able to play my movies.

There is no legal way to remove DRM from the movies purchased at iTunes.
Does that mean I cannot play them thru PLEX App?
Yes. That is what DRM does.
