iTunes Playlists not showing in PMS

Hello there,

I am struggling with iTunes playlists in PMS. They do not appear in PMS and there is no way to add them manually.

I created a new ‘Music’ library in PMS and checked following:

  • under advanced: import from iTuens is checked
  • in iTunes, I made sure to share the music library with other applications
  • all applications are the most recent releases
  • I run my iTunes from an external HDD attached to my Mac, but I copied the entire library inclusive .itl and .xml file structure onto my NAS

What can I do to let my playlists appear in PMS, without having to move all my music to the NAS instead of the HDD??

Any help would be welcome!

Hello Letlaka

No, I have no Apple Music subscription. I can hardly imagine that Plex would require that, but I’m not sure.
