If Linux can’t start a process (CrashUploader) then there is something going on.

Have you tried a system restart?

Is the root filesystem full ?

Distro and version please?

Also, given Linux doesn’t erase your data, have you done an Uninstall/Re-install cycle?

PS: I’m seeing other reports of this failure. Investigating now.

Can you also please see what dmesg reports and include the Plex logs ?

Plex folks, it shouldn’t be this hard to revert back to an older version, especially when new ones may come out with new bugs.

After much searching and poking around this is what you have to do today:

  1. Head to ArchLinux code repository
  2. Select the version you want, click on commit and copy the appropriate URL. As v1.29 fails here I selected v1.28 hence

Does PMS continue to function?

If so, IGNORE IT for now please.

In the future, it’s always a good idea to keep a local copy of a few versions.
This way you’ll have your own backup copy in case something happens.

Running 1.29.2.6334-817e19b35 in docker (plexinc/pms-docker:plexpass) on UnRaid. Plex is running fine. Seeing this message upon restart of Plex for last month.

Just sharing - I’ve read messages/status above and will wait for engineering update.
