I added a new photo library that is all .jpg images. Plex is showing them as video, but all the file info is correct. Any ideas would be helpful.
What client are you using? What do you mean “showing them as video”?
When I mouse over folder or picture it shows the “play arrow” in the middle of the square. When I click on a picture, it tries to “play” it and opens an error box saying that there is a “playback error - error occurred loading items to play.” This happens in the browser ui and in the desktop app. It seems to show photos normally on my phone.
In Web, hovering over a photo does show the play button. That is to start a photo slideshow, so that is correct.
I’m going to need the logs from the Web client to investigate why you get that error. I am able to photos properly myself. Plex Web App Logs | Plex Support
