Recently setup Live TV & DVR through Plex and when setting up the channels, each of them had a channel id/number so I assumed that if I pressed on my Harmony remote a channel number, it would jump to it while in the Guide. It doesn’t though. Is that normal?
edit: The client is an AppleTV4 and I wonder if that’s a limitation on the client side because the original Apple TV remote doesn’t actually have numbers to map …
Can someone who does have a client that allows numbers to be punched in verify? Not sure if a client like that exists, but I assume so …
So this is quite disappointing to find out, but from 2 different Plex clients I have tested to find out that the numbers input does nothing in the guide.
Tested it with a Shield through a Harmony hub and also the Apple TV mentioned in the OP thru HDMI-CEC.
Guess now my question is, will this be supported ever? Are there plans for this?
