Just installed Plex Update (1.32.2.7002-86cfcc10c-x86_64) Service won't start now

I just installed the newest update, now the service will not stay running. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled… updated my computer (windows 10)…

It will not load the service now. When I try to run the Plex Media Server.exe a popup appears that says “Updating Library, please wait” but within a second it closes and I have no running processes for plex.

Since this is the only chance for support other than screaming into the void… What should I do?

Not sure, but a couple of things I would try:

  1. Check the logs for any obvious error messages, try uploading them here also https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/

  2. Try restoring a backup you may have, if not maybe https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/

edit: I see 1.32.2.7002 is a BETA version, you could also try latest stable 1.32.1.6999

If you use the service wrapper, make sure it itself is up-to-date.
