Hello,
I have a short film I labelled:
Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda.avi
accompanied by the subtitles files:
Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda.es.srt
Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda.pt.srt

There is an interview file and its subtitles for this film. I labelled them
Agnès Varda presenta Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda-interview.avi
and the subtitles
Agnès Varda presenta Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda-interview.es.srt
Agnès Varda presenta Salut les cubains (1963) Agnès Varda-interview.pt.srt

My problem is the interview file and the subtitles don’t appear at the film’s page. Can someone help me? Thanks so much for your time and generosity.

How many other files are located in the folder with the extra?

Anyway, if external subtitles are not supported for movie extras, I think I will make this interview a second part of the film, to be able to play it with the subtitles. What do you think about that?

I can’t recommend that.
Get yourself MKVtoolnixGUI
Install it.
then drop all 3 files of the interview into the program window
click on ‘Start Multiplexing’

Is this some kind of documentary? Make sure that it is ‘matched’. Otherwise you won’t be able to use any local extras.
If it is not listed on TheMovieDatabase, match it to the Personal Media agent.

Yes, the film is a documentary, and the second one is the director speaking about it.

but, again, it doesn’t appear as Extras, or as anything else…

I can only see a blank page. I took the whole folder out of where I store the films and run “search for files in the library”. The movie disappeared. I am copying it again. Let’s see what happens now.

OK, this is showing me that this film is matched to the Plex Movie agent.

Is the line ‘Local Media Assets’ activated?

The problem is not with the film but with the interview file, which I cannot see in a small picture in the film’s page.
