Well. My Apple TV auto-updated Plex app.
Now it cant find the server unless I sign in the server.
Why do I need to sign in my server, in order for my Plex Apple TV app to find the server on the same network? (At least the ordinary iOS app does have a manual IP option).
Why doesn’t the Apple TV app have an MANUAL IP OPTION? !!! Feels like we asked for this for years and years…
It’s just such and ugly architecture that the player and the server finds each other by both pushing/asking some remote server for the IP while on the same daaamn LAN.
Whoever even came up with that stupidity should never practice “IT” ever again.
