Since updating to this latest server version, I’ve been having reports (and a couple of times first-hand experience) of lots of buffering and pausing during playback. On the first day while watching something on my Xbox (same house as the server) It paused a few times (for me it was a couple of seconds then resumes). When I monitored my dashboard during the buffering period it showed there was no bandwidth activity for a few seconds, then it spiked to around 90Mbps to compensate for the lack of activity before returning to the normal activity. This repeated a few times).
It happened to me for a few days, but I haven’t noticed at all since then. However, some family members who have traveled told me that they can no longer access it smoothly with one giving up completely and another braving through the buffering and pauses.
The devices I’ve observed it happening are Xbox Series X with the latest player, and the latest Plex for Windows app on my laptop. The users who have reported issues have Galaxy Tab, Samsung TV2019, and 2 via Microsoft Edge browser.
I have decided to roll back to the previous version and skip this update but wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue and if so, how they resolved it.
