I updated my computer (which I use for my server) last week and after I did so I can’t play any of my videos, music, or pictures. The current version I have is 1.14.0.5470. I tried rolling back the version but that doesn’t fix it. No matter what device I try to access my server from it won’t play/stream the content. It’ll show the latest material in that folder but it won’t play any of it? Not sure why it’s not playing back my media? When I click on it to play it from my browser it says “Playback Error, An error occurred loading items to play”.
Not certain if this is applicable, but a fresh install as a new user on a Win 10 ended with no server being found. The help docs and forums are a little obscure… The last update seems to have broken some things… Secure connections???
Been looking for a “media solution” and was hoping this was the one…

A dedicated thread to installation would be useful…
-Server logged in (PMS)
-Firewall on computer/server (if updates were ran maybe it reset or turned on if you had it off and is not allowing PMS thru)
-Double check router settings and port forward (32400) and static IP for your PC/server
-Turn off power to computer, router and modem. Power modem up first, then router and then the pc.
I was going to download the logs but there was a new update so I tried it now it’s even worse. When I reboot my computer my server tries to launch but then just disappears from my system Icon tray. Acts like it won’t stay running. I have uninstalled and rebooted and reinstalled several times with no luck. I even deleted my server hoping to start from scratch but I can’t do that cause the Server won’t even launch now??? My current version that is installed is for windwos 1.14.0.5470
