LG CX OLED TV upgraded to what it said was a beta version and now things are messed up

What has happened to this new version? Its like someone took Plex, lit it on fire, then tried to put it out with a shovel.

First, I don’t see a way to add ANYTHING to a playlist. Whether I am in the movie info, the tv show info, season info, or episode info there is no option anywhere that I can find to add something to a playlist. Am I blatantly missing something or am I correct that it is not there.

Second 50% of the time when I fast forward or rewind the sound becomes dull with a loud popping and crackling sound. Why is this happening. This happens with any audio format.
