Not sure where to post this cause I can’t find the one thread about the new LG app. Yesterday I launched Plex on My LG TV and was presented with trying out the new app. I accepted cause I had planned on trying it out. I selected a movie that I had been watching on my PC that I decided I wanted to watch on the TV. I went to fast forward to where I left off in the movie and I hand no bar popup on the bottom of the screen. Another issue even though I was using the fast-forward it was just jumping intervals instead of actually fast-forwarding. Not looking for any kind of fix just wanted to report a couple of bugs I noticed.

You should exit and restart TV and go back to show and this time you should be presented with resume option.
OK I’ll give it another run sometime today since I still have the 3rd movie of a series I haven’t watched yet. I’ll report back what I get. Thanks for the input.
Since having this update installed I no longer have my library of films and TV. Where has it gone? I have all the online options and none of those in my Plex app on my PC.

Opted out of “Early Access” and got back to the earlier version but now cannot access the media server. using the input button on my LG TV the media server appears but is not the LG Plex app. The Plex library on my PC appears but the link is not as comprehensive. I have been through all the options in the LG app which has got me nowhere.
Server setting/ Authorised devices. Delete the LG app and re link
Been there done that! I was a systems engineer so have dealt with a range of communication devices. Deleted from TV and re linked having signed in and the TV appears as an “Authorised Device” in the PC Plex browser window (opera). There is obviously communication between PC and TV as I am able to use the plex media server which appears on the TV along with LGPC (LG media server), just not the LG app.

just tried to use Plex On both My LG smart tvs & both have been updated & I have seen the server access issues described
had to back out of the new version to access my server

I eventually got back to my PC Plex after revering back to a previous version. I find it annoying having removed the LG Plex app and reinstalling it that I have to sign in to revert back to the previous version, every time! I discovered that the Plex server has to be one of the authorised devices even though I am viewing my library (on the PC) via the Plex server. I extremely disapointed that I have had to go through this process when I have never wanted “Early Access” and have never requested, but it is still the default in the LG app. Somewhat of a learning curve and a premature release onto unsuspecting user!!
I’ve had the same issues when using the new early access interface. Old interface I can access my media library, switch to new interface the app wont connect to the media library, switch back to old interface media library there no probs. I’d like to use the new interface but without being able to access my content its not very useful. LG OLED TV, WEBOS, Plex Docker Media Server
