LG OLED TV Plex no audio for specific file

Audio not playing on TV but playing on web browser on PC and VLC player. Thing something to do with the audio codec.

Is it a 2020 LG TV?
They have (annoyingly) removed DTS compatibility from the 2020 OLED sets.

Yep. It is LG CX 55 2020. Strange they should have kept backward compatible but is it just because of DTS not being compatible with LG.

Also having issues in auto off feature cannot find it

I’m relatively new to plex so can’t provide much in the way of technical guidance I’m afraid.
Plex should be transcoding the DTS, so might be worth seeing what is being output. Should show something like Transcode DTS > AC3.

Plex should be able to transcode on the fly to AC3 but somehow Plex thinks that the TV supports DTS / DTS-HD.

DId anyone figure this out yet by creating a client profile?

I figured it out with some help, Just go into the settings of the LG Plex app and disable DTS. The server will then transcode.

In my case i had to reinstall plex because on my Synology DS218+ Nas hardware acceleration wasn’t working what appeared to be a common problem after a DSM update.

Only thing is that it is transcoding not only DTS but also Atmos en other HD autio formats. Dolby Digital AC3 does directplay.
