Lg Plex app to slow (LG 49UH750V-ZA)

I use the plex Lg app on my TV but it is incredibly slow!
I try with xplay and it is fast!
Why the Plex app is so bad?
Will there be any upgrade to fix it?
Does anyone else have the same problem?

Make sure you use Fall back to Insecure connections on TV app. Go to settings/General/ scroll to bottom. Connections always Insecure.
Server settings/ network/ Secure Connections ( Preferred)

That should resolve your slow TV app

The server settings for secure connections is already to secure connections prefered.
I have put secure connections off and it’s working.

This is not only caused by the secure connection. I have an LG series 9 TV with the Alpha 9 chip as well as two other models of LG TV’s and there is an noticeable difference in performance. The trust is that the Plex TV app simply isn’t that well designed in terms of data compression. Besides. The solution to increase performance should never be to allow none-secure connections.
