LG TV, slow to start and skip videos ONLY when using secure connection

Server Version#: Plex (Docker) 1.32.6.7468
Player Version#: Plex for LG Client 5.68.2 & Platform 8.1.0

This has only started happening lately and I’ve tested it on two different LG TV’s. For some reason when playing a video it is taking a long time to start… Also when skipping through a video it takes a very long time.

I changed my LG TV to use insecure connections and once I do that, it is gone back to almost instant playing again.

So something with secure connections is slowing it down.

attaching the debug log which also includes the plex lg client debug logs.

Any ideas/suggestions on what might be causing it?

is this on LAN? Ive seen it where secure connection will force traffic to route through WAN, significantly slowing things down. Check your server dashboard while streaming to see if its sending it though WAN.

My server is hosted so it is all WAN. So that’s not the issue. This is ONLY an issue on LG tv’s…
