I used Plex last night on the tv and today I can’t play any video from my server or another servers I have access too. Plex works online for desktop and my htpc, so it’s got to be something with the tv app. I can see the dashboard and everything, but when I select a video to play, it cycles for a bit, stops, and then gives me the error code H4.
I would Trying the following.
On the LG Plex TV app, go to “Settings -> Main -> Allow fallback to insecure connections on same network”, then restart Plex on the TV.
Thanks. I did try that based on some other replies but I’m not exactly sure how you restart Plex on the TV. I mean, I can go to other inputs, turn the TV off and on again and what not and then come back, but does that count as a restart?
But at this time after trying that, the app still doesn’t play any videos.
Go another app, open up the smart menu, click recents, hover over the app, an x will appear above, click arrow up button on remote to select and close.
As sevenalive mentioned or best bet at the power point for the TV’s power. Let it sit for a couple minutes before turning on again.
Thanks! I didn’t know this about the interface. I did this and now I’m able to watch all my videos again!
