LG TV and Version 1.4.1.3362

just after the latest update, playback to the LG TV app no longer work, plays a few seconds then jumps back to title screen, but the same will play on all other media, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Osx

I am having the exact same problem. I’ve tested a few different video files and the only ones that I found that played were MKV files. Both AVI and MP4 load and immediately stop as described by @jattilab

I’m hoping that a future update to the PMS and/or the LG (Netcast) app fixes it, however if anyone has a workaround in the mean time I’d love to hear it. I’m using a chromecast as a workaround at the moment but I like to use the native app…

Had the same problems with 1.4.1.3362 on the LG Netcast platform, no problems with the WebOS Platform.
I revertet back to 1.4.0, has any of you tried the new 1.4.2.3400 ?

I have the same problem with certain files running for a few seconds then stopping. It’s the same on 2 LG TVs. Hoped today’s update would have fixed it but it does not. Having to use a roku stick but means more remotes and time. Can plex be put back to previous working version?

Reverted back to 2 updates ago and all is well. Do Plex admin read these posts or are we left to work thongs out for ourselves?

Hi Guys. This issue has been fixed in todays PMS update 1.4.4.3495. I installed it and all my media files are playing again as expected on my LG smart tv. Mor information at post below
