New update not working on LG smart TV

My LG 695v can not play the main movie after the ver 1.4.1.3362 update. I dont know if it is me or my firmvare in my TV. Does anyone know?
Ps I try install ver 1.3.4.3285 on a nother pc and it works fine on my TV.

Same issue, problem started with 1.4 versions. Movie begins then skips thru to end

Same issue here… started with version 1.4.

Can I easily downgrade or will it break the database?

  • Plex Client Version: 2.12.10 (downloaded from the LG store)

Description

Streaming is no longer working properly on an LG TV after I’ve updated the Plex Server.

Steps to reproduce

Upgrade PMS to 1.4.1.3362 and try to play several TV show episodes on a LG smart TV.
I’m using my own Docker Image called dbarton/plex:1.4.1.3362.

Actual behaviour

The TV show starts and after a couple of seconds it stops.
The timeline shows only a couple of seconds (e.g. duration of 2 seconds) instead of the real media length (e.g. 55mins).

Expected behaviour

It plays w/o any issues of course :slight_smile:

Troubleshooting

I downgraded PMS back to 1.3.4.3285 to see if it’s really the new version.
Apparently it is!

Workaround

Downgrade PMS to 1.3.4.3285 until problem is fixed.

Feedback to developer (on LG TV) was submitted a couple of minutes ago!
