Playback Issues on LG TV

I’ve got Plex installed on my LG TV. In the past 24 hours some of my movies files play for 2 secs or less then suddenly stop. If I try playing these same movies via Plex on my iOS devices they play perfectly fine. The only thing that’s changed was me applying an update to my media server yesterday. This issue ONLY happens on my LG TV. This issue occurs on movies that I’ve previously watched before.

Anyone had this issue before?

Please help

I’m having the same problem. My LG TV is playing only 2 seconds of movies … it was happening with some, but now all I add to my library are having trouble.

Same here, 2 secs then stops. Just updated to 1.4.3.3433. Worked fine on previous server version

I have the same problems With playback on LG TV. (Web OS 2.0). Playback Works if I disable subtitles. Using 1.4.3.3433. Didn’t work With the previous 1.4 updates. Had to rollback to 1.3.4.3285. Anyone have a solution?

Does rolling back to v1.3.4.3285 help solve this issue?
Do I have to do a complete re-install of my PMS server if I rollback?
Where do I find v1.3.4.3285?

I came back to version 1.3.4.3285 and everything is working perfectly.
Simply uninstall the PMS software and install the previous version.
Not to delete anything from you, at least not mine did not delete.

FYI
If you do find the release you wish to rollback to, you need to remove Plex then Reinstall the rollback version

Your PMS settings and libraries will remain un-touched.

Thanks everyone I was able to find the previous version, re-install PMS (everything stayed in tact) and now I’m able to play all my videos without issues. I appreciate all the help

Another quick question for you all…

Everytime I try to access Plex on my LG TV I first have to visit www.plex.tv/link and enter the code. Is there a way to avoid doing this EVERYTIME? I’ve only done this once for all my iOS devices and I’ve never had to do it again.

I get a “there was a problem playing this item” on my plex im using lg webos3.0 and plex version 2.1.0
