LG TV: "Indirect" and Server Unreachable

Server Version#: 1.20.3.3483

Hello, my Plex Media has randomly stopped working. Right now it is set to indirect so I can view videos but the quality is low because it is streaming.

I’ve added and removed accounts multiple times from my Windows 10 computer and my LG TV and nothing has changed.

Firewall is not blocking plex.

I can view Plex videos on my computer with no issue.

Plex for LG version: 4.29.9
webOS version: 5.1.0

I found this in the log file. I’ve tried switching from “Preferred” to “Disabled” and I lost access to all media.

Can you please confirm if your LG TV is UHD (4K).

If it’s 720p or 1080p (HD) then I am sorry to say that you are out of luck.
As it seems that Plex has now dropped support for non-UHD (4K) smart tv’s.

See my forum post for more details: https://forums.plex.tv/t/lg-28tn515s-plex-is-not-reachable

Yes it is a UHD 4K. It was working before for almost 4 months

I actually plugged in the ethernet cable and it works fine like that. I just can’t seem to connect to my server on Wi-Fi.
