HI, i’m not sure if this is a plex or an LG issue, but starting earlier today, i could not play plex through the plex app. i can get the main menu which shows all my categories, but when i try and play a show, i get the 3 dots and after a while it times out saying there was an error. plex plays fine through chromecast and my other devices (including a vizio tv). can anyone shed some light on this? like i said, yesterday i was able to play plex fine. i am running my plex server off a NAS device which run great btw. I am experiencing the exact same issue. I did the upgrade in the server and afterwards LG forced me to accept a notification in the plex app saying that data would need to be shared outside of the UK with third parties. The alternative plex app still works on the LG store. It is definitely not the server, need an updated app from Plex on the LG store to correct this problem.
