Hello All,
Today I have an issue where my LG TV Plex app loads, I can see all of my shows, but I can’t play any of these… it just sites there with the three dots on the screen, nothing happens. Previous to today, it has worked fautlessly for years… I’m not seeing these issues when I run the client from another machine, only the LG Smart TV.
Any ideas ???

I’m having the same issue on my 2016 LG OLED. There was an update today, however mine says 3.13.14.
I have exact same issue. My Plex server is on Windows 10 and after the last update to version 1.12.2.4929 my LG OLED 65B7P running webOS 3.7.0-5711401 will not play any content from my server. This problem started right after I updated. Other devices like android phones work fine and play all content. Problem is the same and states “video did not start in required time” … or words to that affect.
I see other threads reporting the same issue. Something in the last server upgrade is not compatible with LG Smart TV webOS app. I sure do not want to start using a Fire Stick again. Support please fix. Thanks …
I am experiencing the exact same issue. I did the upgrade in the server and afterwards LG forced me to accept a notification in the plex app saying that data would need to be shared outside of the UK with third parties. The alternative plex app still works on the LG store. It is definitely not the server, need an updated app from Plex on the LG store to correct this problem.
Same exact issue here with LG TV after server update.
Same issue … my Plex server is a QNAP TS-451 running plex server Version 1.12.2.4929. TV is UH855T running webOS 3.3.0 and Plex For LG version 3.13.14. And to clarify … like mallinss … the players on other devices work … it (seemingly) is only the LG TV plex media player app that is affected. Note: downgraded my NAS to PMS version to 1.10.1.4602 and does not fix the issue. Looks like it is inherent in the LG TV plex media player(?)

Downgraded for now, not tested if it fixes the issue as at work.

I’m using Mac server, broke on two lg TVs. Samsung tv is working. Tried uninstalling app on tvs, reinstalling, nothing. Same issue. See content. Just get 3 dots
I have the same issue on both of my LG TV’s. XPlay works fine. It started happening yesterday after the update.
I was having this problem last night on my LG TV. Updated the server to the latest build but it was still happening last night. Just now tried it on the LG without doing anything to the server and it started working again. My server is on Version 1.12.3.4947.
It is working now. I didn’t make any changes, it just started working again.
