I have both my LG TV (Plex Player) and my Macbook Air (Plex Media Server) connected to the same router on a local network. Some hours ago I lost my internet connection. When it came back my Plex Player couldn’t reach my macbook air (which is running the Plex Media Server app). After reading this support article I did the following:
- Login out and exiting Plex Media Server on my macbook
- Login out and exiting Plex Player on my LG TV
- Launching back and login back in on the Plex Media Server
- Launching back and login back in on the Plex Player
It didn’t work. The Plex Player insists that my macbook is unreachable.
Unfortunately I don’t know much about computers, so when i read that it might be something related to the subnet mask I decided to ask for some help.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
