Server unreachable in local network

Hello,

I have a weird problem. My LG TV always says that the server is not reachable.

The TV and Plex server (laptop) are both (wired) on the same local network. I can ping the TV and get response.

I can stream from my phone to plex (in the same local network) without problems…

My tv configuration:
IPv4: 192.168.68.108
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.68.1
Dns-server 192.168.68.1
Tv: LG Oled65cx6la
LG-Web-OS version: 5.1.1-3704 (jhericurl-japoon)

Plexserver:
IPv4: 192.168.68.111
Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.68.1
Dns-server: 192.168.68.1
Plexserver version: Plex Mediaserver 1.20.1.3252

Does anyone had the same issue?

Look at following settings.

IPv6 disabled on LG /Network settings
IPv6 disabled in Server settings
Secure connections - Preferred
Plex app Settings add your manual server settings 192.168.68.111, port 32400
Plex app settings/ Advanced / allow insecure connections - on Local network also Insecure connections preferred on Local network.
Server settings / Network, add the following to List of addresses and networks allowed. 192.168.68.0/24
Router create Static/Reserved LAN IP’s for the Server and TV, in your case 192.168.68.111 and 192.168.68.108

I would also not use your ISP DNS on TV, use a public DNS like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. You could also do the same on your computer.
