The ‘mark as played’ (or unplayed) option is missing at the season level since new ‘sidebar’ releases were introduced.

I do have the hamburger menu (ellipses … whatever they’re called now ;), at the SERIES level as seen in your screenshot, which would mark all episodes in the entire series as played.
However; if you went into that specific season there is no option to mark it as played. (if say, you had 6 seasons and only wanted to mark the first three as played)
